At present we concentrate on web related projects like static and dynamic websites, web applications and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). We develop apps for mobile devices on various platforms and application softwares for windows based machines. We do work on data security and usually conducts penetration testing before product delivery.

We always go for the latest trends and technologies to develop our products. We do use plugins and latest frameworks to build reliable products efficiently.

Agate always come up with new ideas and implement them. This include products which we think would be useful for the public. We also work on open source projects and do contributions from our side.

About Agate

In the present world, technology serves people. We have many private and public sector schemes with a lot of volunteers which are formed to serve people physically in their needs. But today it would be far more better to augment such schemes with technology related services. And we are one of such foundations which makes world a better place to live.

Agate is basically a team of programmers, IT professionals, engineers and technology enthusiasts volunteered for some good cause. We as a team bring up new ideas to serve society, implement them and distribute the resulting products free of cost to the public. At present Agate concentrates more on programming arena-especially on web technologies, app-development and data security.

At times we undertake projects from external clients to meet the financial needs. We do accept donations from the well wishers who would like us to stay alive. "Learn Serve Teach" is our motto. We promote learning of new technologies through various schemes like online video tutorials and use the learnt skills to serve the society and share the knowledge gained with others.

App Development Android has become very popular among mobile device users today. We develop native apps for android using Java as well as by using the cordova framework which has become very popular among the developers today.

Security Piracy and privacy are the two sides of the same coin. We do eliminate the common security issues due to poor programming practices while developing the products and do a thorough penetration testing using all popular hacking tools before the launch or delivery of our products.

Application Softwares We develop low end application softwares for windows based systems. It includes all major types of database driven systems like library management, sales management and any other custom data related service softwares which you can think of.

Web Development

We develop static as well as dynamic websites from scratch as well as from templates. We use the front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX etc.. and the back-end is developed using PHP, Python, MySQL etc..
We do use the frameworks such as bootstrap for responsive design and codeigniter in the back-end.

Back-ends
We develop algorithm intensive back-ends with technologies such as machine learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Artificial Intelligence (AI) etc... which can be used along with SMS gateways, Internet of Things (IoT) etc...

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Getting your website indexed on the top of search results of google or any other search engines is the dream of any website owner. We concentrate on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to tune the websites in a manner so that we make this dream come true.

App Development

Android
Android has become very popular among mobile device users today. We develop native apps for android using Java as well as by using the cordova framework which has become very popular among the developers today.

Windows
At present we develop apps for windows mobile devices by using the cordova framework

Firefox OS
Firefox-OS - The open source OS for devices such as mobiles, tablets, televisions etc... by Mozilla is gaining wide popularity today. We do contribute to this open source project in the form of apps. Apart from our contributions we do develop client specific custom apps for specific use too.

Security

Piracy and privacy are the two sides of the same coin. We do eliminate the common security issues due to poor programming practices while developing the products and do a thorough penetration testing using all popular hacking tools before the launch or delivery of our products. Almost all the vulnerabilities listed by Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) including XSS, SQL Injection etc are completely removed from our web based products. We also reduce the chances of Man in The Middle (MiTM) attacks and other common attacks like bruteforce and dictionary attacks by using various techniques including third party security services.

At present we don't take the security projects alone. We give security only for the products developed by ourselves and do not undertake the penetration testing of softwares and web applications developed by a third party.

Application Softwares

We develop low end application softwares for windows based systems. It includes all major types of database driven systems like library management, sales management and any other custom data related service softwares which you can think of. The package usually comes bundled with an executable setup file and is very easy to install and use. The software will not have any external dependencies and run without any supporting softwares.
