A River’s Metamorphosis

A river’s journey, from mountain springs so cold,
The water dances, as if stories are being told.
In its journey, it gathers the strength of the earth,
A liquid metamorphosis, giving life, from birth.

It weaves through valleys, and continues to twist,
At every turn, leaving a path, it can’t resist.
Embracing the land, with a touch that’s pure,
A relentless force, forever to endure.

The river’s rush, cascading down the heights,
Carving through canyons, with its determined might.
Eroding the rocks, with its unyielding force,
Enchanting all with its unwavering course.

Cloaked in mist, as it dances with the breeze,
Whispers of life, hidden within the tease.
Guiding the flora, with its rhythmic flow,
A journey of wonder, from high to low.

And as it nears the ocean, its final destination,
The river slows down, with a peaceful contemplation.
Merging with the vast sea, in a tranquil embrace,
Completing its metamorphosis, with sheer grace.
